This stadium is located in the downtown of Cancun next to the Baseball stadium.
Another famous soccer team is Pioneros. Their stadium is Cancun 86.
Many soccer players use to train in different courts of Cancun, at gyms, km 0 and the beach. If you want to start training soccer, you can find numbers and email addresses on the internet, so you can get in contact with a representative.

    3. BasketballCancun-Challenge The Poliforum Cancun is the home to the Pioneros de Quintana Roo, Cancun’s local basketball team. More than 4000 people can fit in this huge stadium. It has facilities for all. The Pioneros of Quintana Roo Basketball team began 3 years ago and now are doing well both in the South-East Mexico league and also in the Mexican national league. There are no prompt games at the stadium, last one was at the first months of July.
The Cancun Challenge is a big basketball event in Cancun made each year in the hotel Hard Rock Riviera Maya, very close to Cancun. Teams and fans are treated to a spectacular all-inclusive rock star vacation with games, practices, unlimited dining and drinks, world class entertainment, and fun all in one location. 7. BullfightingBullfighting-cancun Bulls are bred fighting bulls, most of them from the same bloodline not less than 4 years old. Their weight is something between 500 and 800 pounds. Most bullfighters come from Spain and Mexico to present their spectacle. “Corridas” are at weekends, so remember to buy your ticket in advance.

    8. TennisTennis-cancun The weather in Cancun allowed to build courts in the outside and play at almost any time of the day even at night when the lights turn on. There is a court in the downtown of Cancun at Casa de la Cultura, you can rent the court for 50 pesos per hour, located at avenue Yaxchilán. The exclusive courts are at the hotels, resorts and residentials: Cancun Clipper Club, Cancun Palace All Inclusive, Carisa y Palma, Fiesta Americana Condesa, Moon Palace, Oasis, etc. Many of these hotels allow you to play and train but just if you are a guest. A recommended choice is Bok Ta Pok, a big residential with 3 tennis courts and a golf camp. You don’t need a special permission to play there and is located at the hotel zone of Cancun.

    9. SurfingCancun-Surf This is an amazing sport and Cancun offers many surfing events from around the world you can’t miss.
There is a really good surf school in Cancun called “360 Surf School in Cancun”, ranked #1 by the Cancun Surfing Association. • Swim with Majestic Whale Sharks in Riviera Maya this Summer

Swim with Majestic Whale Sharks in Riviera Maya this Summer

A priceless experience you can only enjoy from June 1, don’t miss your chance to snorkel alongside the biggest fish in the sea, as hundreds of friendly, majestic whale sharks fill the warm waters off our coast all summer long.

Boasting one of the most robust seasonal populations of whale sharks in the world, the warms waters around the Yucatan are prime for up close and personal encounters with these majestic creatures all summer long. In fact, over 400 of these incredible creatures gathered off our coast in 2011. That said, Cancún and Playa del Carmen whale shark tours have quickly become some of the most popular in Riviera Maya.Riviera Maya 1How, When, & Where to See Them

The 20167 season lasts throught the end of summer, with prices ranging from $125-$210 for 6-9 hours of snorkeling, nautical sightseeing, and feasting on fresh-caught ceviche. Most leave Playa around 6am, heading for the waters off Isla Holbox, Contoy, or Mujeres, depending where the sharks are gathering. While most local outfitters offer whale shark tours this time of year, Whale Shark Discovery Cancun is definitely one of the best.Riviera Maya 2What Are They, Whales or Sharks?

Whale sharks are actually the world’s largest type of shark, which also makes them the biggest fish in the sea. They’re called “whales” because of their behemoth size, reaching lengths of up to 40 feet, in excess of 20 tons. Think snorkeling with one of these guys sounds scary? No worries, they’re actually what’s called “filter feeders,” meaning they use thousands of super small teeth to literally filter tiny creatures like plankton and eggs from the water. If they remind you of dinosaurs, that’s because they kind of are – the species dates back roughly 60 million years!Riviera Maya 3The 9th Annual Isla Mujeres Whale Shark Festival

Every year in mid-July, Isla Mujeres hosts a celebration of the Mexican Caribbean’s favorite summer guest. While the focus of the festival is encouraging people to join them in the water – with an emphasis on marine conservation – you can also expect plenty of live music, dancing, local art, and traditional island cuisine.

  • How to Get Around in Playa del Carmen Like a Local

How to Get Around in Playa del Carmen Like a Local

Want to step off the plane knowing how to get around Playa like a local? We’ve got the scoop on everything from understanding the layout of the streets to where to find rides to Cancún & Tulum, as well as affordable bike & car rentals.

Originally named “Xaman-Ha,” or “Waters of the North,” by the Mayans, our city began tantalizing ancient travelers as a peaceful rest stop on the way to the sacred island of Cozumel. During the modern era, fishermen have flocked to our Caribbean shore for over 110 years, leading to its founding 1937.

Since then, the countless things there are to love about Playa del Carmen have stirred the wonder of vacationers and expats the world over. The result has been a surge in both residents and visitors every year to the next (so much it’s actually the fastest growing city in Mexico!), while still embodying the relaxed, laid-back air that’s made it such an attractive destination for centuries.

Just Call it “Playa” for Short

Spanish for “beach,” a seemingly endless number of playas may line Riviera Maya, but there’s only one true “Playa.” If leave it at that, the locals will know exactly what you’re talking about. As for “del Carmen,” that stems from the name of the patron saint of Cancún, Our Lady of Mount Carmel.playa del carmen 1A Quick Guide to Getting Around

The first thing to know is that Downtown is laid out on a grid. The two main east-west streets are Avenida Juárez and Avenida Constituyentes, while a handful of numerical Avenidas run north-south parallel to the beach in multiples of five (including the hip, pedestrian-friendly Quinta Avenida, or “La Quinta”). As far as other throughways, Calles also run east-west, with even numbers north of Juárez and odd numbers to the south.playa 2Bike, Drive, Hitch a Taxi or Bus Ride

While you can walk pretty much anywhere in Playa proper, you may want to change your mode of travel or venture outside the city. That’s where bike rentals at the north end of La Quinta can come in handy. You’ll find numerous car rental companies here as well, and taxis are plentiful throughout the city. For further travels, both the bus station and “colectivo” vans are options. The latter run between Tulum and Cancún, and can often be hailed from bus stops along Highway 307.playa 3

And it does but this one in Krispy House comes with no alcohol so don’t worry to let your kid have a couple Butter Beers at Crispy Haus! 😉

Crispy Fish and Chips Crispy-Chicken-and-Chips-Krispy-HouseA breaker diet choice! This dish includes delicious potato fries and breaded fish with your sided barbecue sauce.

    Crispy Chicken and Chips

A similar choice if you rather chicken instead of fish!
