Every year, thousands of male travelers come to Cancun to enjoy vacations. I am sure you are reading this article cause you are looking for a cool and adventure trip for male travelers, it can be solo or with your friends. Cancun offers many great activities like watersports, tours, visit to the islands, parties and more. With some study and experiences of other travelers, I did this ultimate guide to Cancun for Male Travelers comming to the paradisiacal place:

Where to stay?

Cancun counts with more than 300 hotels, from this, I choose the most suitable for male travelers looking for excitement and close to the sea where you can do many activities such as snorkel, scuba diving, parasailing and other activities.

Grand Oasis Cancun Resort:

This is an all-inclusive resort where many young travelers, specially spring breakers, choose for its fun atmosphere. It counts with many entertainment activities such as beach games, pool games, dj parties, golf courses, watersports and has one of the biggest pools of all the resorts in Cancun. Also counts with a private beach only for guests. More than 15 restaurants are at the Grand Oasis, I recommend the Mexican Sarabe if you want to eat mexican food. Take a tour

Cancun counts with an infinity amount of tours and activities to do! Male travelers rather more risky and adventurous activities, specially in Cancun where you can take advantage of the ocean and feel the adrenaline of the many things to do here.

Scuba Dive:

This is something you can not miss, a dive adventure. The coral reef of Cancun is huge and there are thousands of different sea animals that you will meet. Also, the famous Underwater Museum of MUSA is between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. If you have never dive before and you want to try it for the first time, there is a special tour for Beginners, you just go on a pool for lessons until you are ready to drop to the ocean. Scuba Dive at night:

Two dives, the first one with sunlight and the second one at night. Don’t forget to take your dive light and see the nocturnal animals coming out to feed, and an entirely different ecosystem coming to life at night! Click here to see this tour.

Atv Jungle:

In this tour, you can ride a ATV in the jungle, zunipline, swim in a cenote and driving your own speedboat. Feel the power beneath you as you race along the shores of the beautiful Caribbean Sea, the white sand beaches of Cancun, Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya. Parasailing:

Play Golf:

This is a great activity to do with friends. There are many golf courses in Cancun, most of them are located inside the resorts. My recommendation is to visit the Golf Camp of Pok ta Pok or the Moon Spa & Golf Camp, players can enjoy 18 holes within the following combination of golf courses: Dunes & Jungle, Jungle & Lakes, and Lakes & Dunes. Party and meet new people:

Nightlife in Cancun is amazing. If you are traveling solo or with friends, this is the ideal activity to meet new people and beautiful girls. The discos are numerous and each one has a unique style. Depending on what kind of music you want to dance you will find it. In this Cancun Guide I recommend for female travelers “Palazzo”. I had a great time there, people from all over the world and great night shows. This is a glamorous club with pop and electronic music where most young travelers around the world go. Normally hotels with big groups of travelers invite them to Palazzo for its great atmosphere, like Oasis.

Visit Playa del Carmen:

If you are looking for a really crazy party, you have to visit Playa del Carmen and go to Coco Bongo. Close to this is located the famous Fifth Avenue: hundreds of bars, shopping stores and restaurants. The best nightlife is in Playa de Carmen, Coco Bongo is the most famous for having artists and night shows, very fun and entertaining! Some other clubs are very nice on the seashore with famous djs.

This spectacular cenote is located just a few kilometers from Tulum in the Mayan Riviera and is one of the best known in the area. Perfect for snorkeling and diving, this cenote nearly perfect circular is home to marvelous stalagmites and stalactites, as well as refreshing and clear water. Now that the winter is ending, you have time to book a tour to swim with Whale Sharks! The season starts in May and ends in September.. Most of this Whale Sharks are located in Holbox and Contoy, two islands very close to Cancun.
Swimming with Whale Sharks is a unique opportunity that you can experience in your vacations.Whale Sharks are the biggest fish in the world, they can measure up to 12 meters long. They can seem huge and scary but Whale Sharks are harmless and calm. When you swim with Whale Sharks you can get very close to them and appreciate this amazing creatures. They are recognized for their circled white spots and pale horizontal and vertical lines. Because of this, they use to be named “Domino Sharks”.
The Whale Shark swims with its mouth open, close to the surface that it can easily eat plankton while swimming; then it closes the mouth expelling all the water from the body leaving just the plankton in the mouth.

Fact: The mouth of the Whale Shark can be up to a meter and a half when it is opened.

Cancun for seniors is increasing by time, as travelers of all ages decide Cancun to spend a tropical vacation relaxing in a place of the Caribbean. Cancun is associated for being a crazy party spot, adventure and fun for young people, but it is not necessary to be under 30 years to have a great time here. With hundreds of tropical beaches, excellent restaurant scenes, amazing historic sites and a lot of nature to see, there is so much to do in Cancun for senior travelers. Where to stay?

Cancun best hotels and apartments are located in the tourist zone: “Zona Hotelera” on the big avenue next to the beach, apartments at the seashore are beautiful, it is like a dream. There are other nice appartments in the center of Cancun, I recommend the ones close to Las Americas Mall at Bonampak Avenue, it is very safe and lower in costs than the Zona Hotelera. Most hotels in Cancun have a party atmosphere, most their activities are specially for the young travelers, so I made a detailed research of the best hotels in Cancun for senior travelers, this are:

What to do?

Enjoy the beach of Cancun

Most travelers in Cancun go to the beaches. There is more than 20 km of pure beach in Cancun and not all of them are full with Spring Breakers or familes with children. Don’t go to Playa Tortugas, Playa Langosta or Playa Forum, most of the time they are full with parties and sports. The most relaxing beaches are located on the South: Playa Marlin or Playa Delfines, there is not a lot of people on those because they are located far from the discos and the waves are a little bit stronger.

Have a dinner at a restaurant in the Zona Hotelera

With so much fresh fish, seafood, fruit and vegetables to choose from, there’s little chance of going hungry in Cancun. Cancun restaurants of the Zona Hotelera are located next to the lagoon. Most of them are luxury and perfect to share a romantic dinner. It is very important to make a reservation before going. My best recommendation is Puerto Madero, Fish and Steak House, it is delicious and the view is beautiful when the sun goes down. There are other local restaurants. The best mexican food is located in the downtown of Cancun where you can eat the typical enchiladas, tacos or chilaquiles.

Visit Tulum

Tulum is one of the best places for Senior Travelers. It’s an ecological town of white sand and cristaline beaches where thousands of travelers around the world choose for its relaxing and purifying atmosphere. Tulum beaches are very calm. Most hotels of Tulum turn off the lights after 7 pm and you can see the starry skies like in the movie of Titanic. In Tulum, you will be able to see the only archaeological Mayan Site in front of the beach. Tulum from Cancun Airport.

Every year, thousands of female travelers, young and old, come to Cancun to have a beach vacation. I am sure you want this vacation to be worth and unforgettable: enjoy the cristaline beaches, hotels at the seashore, nice restaurants, party until 4 am and great activities that in Cancun you would love to do. The main tourist area in Cancun is a safe place. I did this ultimate guide to Cancun for Female Travelers with helpful tips, things you can do and places you can visit when comming to this paradisical place, all of this is focus on female travelers:

Don’t spend all your money in a resort:

Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas

I think is better to book a low cost hotel than paying a lot of money for a resort because Cancun offers a lot of things to do and you are going to be most of the time outside. In this Cancun guide I recommend you to book in the Hotel Zone. My recommendations for good service and low budget hotels are: Holiday Inn Arenas, Real Inn, Hotel Sotavento and Yacht Club, Calypso Hotel Cancun, Hotel Cancun Clipper Club, Mayafair Design Hotel and the Grand Royal Lagoon.

Visit Isla Mujeres:

This is another great place for this Cancun guide, the Island is located 13 kilometers away from Cancun, to get there you must take a ferry in Puerto Juarez dock. This is a paradisiacal island because it has white sand beaches, water sports, the tour riding all Isla Mujeres in a golf cart and for the underwater museum where you can snorkel or dive. Tickets to Isla Mujeres costs about 15 dlls roundtrip, the ferry ride is great if you sit at the roof watching the ocean view and listening the music they play at the ride, it takes about 30 minutes to get to Isla. At night there are some beach bars and discos that you can go.

Scuba Dive:

Cancun is one of the best diving destinations in the world. If you have never dive before you are going to the right place, hundreds of beautiful reefs and color fishes are underwater, I love diving in Cancun cause the water is very clear and you can see long distance underwater. There are special diving packages for beginners, the first class starts in a pool and then you go to the ocean after knowing everything to dive correctly and safe.

Nightlife:

Nightlife in Cancun is amazing. The discos are numerous and each one has a unique style. Depending on what kind of music you want to dance you will find it. Visit Chichen Itza:

You can not miss to visit one of the 7 wonders of the World “Chichen Itza“. It is the most famous Mayan archaeological site in Mexico for its history and constructions built by the ancients. There are several tours in the daytime where you can observe the pyramids, the culture and visit the cenote. Every tuesday at night, Chichen Itza Light and Sound offers a night show on the principal buildings of this site.
