Cancun is a beautiful city located in the caribbean coast. It is known for its numerous pizza places around the city. Every street has a pizza store and you will never starve in Cancun. Here are some of the best pizzas in Cancun based on experience and research.

Rolandis

Rolandis is known as the most famous italian restaurant in Cancun. There are pizzas in the menu with different flavors and ingredients. There are 4 Rolandis in Cancun; Cumbres, Avenue Coba and 2 in the Hotel Zone. Any of the three have a good enviroment and is pretty full of people all the time but the enviroment is really nice that you don’t have to worry about having bad service. The attention is kind and they serve fast your order. If you are really hungry and you are planning to spend around 20 dlls for you, Rolandis is a good option. Some pizzas that Rolandis have are named Margarita, Napolitana, Marinera, Cancun, Cuatro Estaciones, Maialiana, Hawaiana, Cuatro Quesos, Strapacciata, Fiesta Mexicana, Jardinera and some others. Pastas are also a good recommendation and they have good wine and non-alcoholic drinks to accompany your pizza such as sodas, lemonace or orange juice. Don’t worry in Cancun about the alcohol because almost every restaurant has beer, tequila, mezcal and many alcohol bottles in the menu.

El Tigre y el Toro

There are many restaurants Tigre y el Toro en Cancun. One close to Avenue Huayacan and another one is located in Avenue Nader, when you google it you can get there easily. It has many options for pizza; such as margarita, pepperoni, hawaiiana, vegetariana, vegan, arrachera, italian, española, 4 quesos, etc. You don’t have to make a reservation for Tigre y El Toro. The restaurant has music and offers a comfortable enviroment for their clients. The restaurant is a cool spot in a type of courtyard, it has lights and little tables that are very nice.

Pizarra

La Pizarra is a restaurant that offers great pizzas for the visitors in Cancun. This restaurant just opened a new location in Marina Puerto Cancun. The other Pizarra is located in Plaza La Isla km 12.3 of the Hotel Zone. Some people say this is the best pizza in town and it offers many types of pizzas. Also it has good beverages to order. Definitely you must go to Pizarra when you visit Cancun.

Rino’s Pizza Time

This restaurant is located in Avenue Bonampak and Coba close to the km 0 of the hotel zone. It is considered one of the best restaurants in Cancun. The restaurant serves food like in Italia. Their pizzas are margarita, pepperoni y mozarella, hawaiiana, salsiccia, calabresse and one of chicken with vegetables. They have delivery service.

Luna Rossa

It is also considered of the best pizzas you will find in Cancun. It is located in Av. Bonampak Lote 10-Loc 5, 4, 77500 Cancún, Q.R. You can order many pizzas for the table in case you are many people and try the different ones they have. The restaurant has also many pastas and wines. The pizzas are cooked in wood oven. La Vecchia Pizza

I write this article on inspirtation to the Company that I have been working for years. I will talk a about how our culture mindset is.

Each culture must be unique into create one, but I have observed many great cultures. By looking at those elements I can now differentate a culture of an organization.

The best wedding I have been in Cancun

In 2014, I attended to one of the best weddings I have been to in my life. This was at the Barcelo Mayan Palace in Riviera Maya (Transportation to Barcelo Mayan Palace). My cousin Alfonso was getting married with her girlfriend Gaby, a very beautiful couple.
They organized their wedding weekend at this hotel with a Mayan ceremony, Church ceremony and an amazing party at the end.

First, we arrived on a van this Friday with my family in Mexico and other countries. There were more than 200 people including my cousin’s girlfriend family. We arrived about 4 pm, every family was located in a room at this huge resort, it was really big you could lose yourself. Finally we stayed in a room near the wedding couple, it was cool because the photographers took pictures of them at the lobby with their wedding clothes.
We were all located in the rooms and getting ready for the first Mayan ceremony. The Mayan Civilization is part of our mexican culture and that is why they choosed to stay in the Mayan Palace.
We found ourselves at night by the sea, beautiful candles and lights everywhere, ready to start with the ceremony. The couple stood at the front seated. This ritual began with many chants that the Mayan culture do, very interesting. Fire shows and rituals called everyone’s attention; that’s how Gaby and Alfonso joined throught the Mayas.

After this ceremony, we all went to a Mexican buffet inside the hotel, the food was delicious, I can’t explain it with words. There were 4 types of Mexican Buffets. It was so good you couldn’t choose. Since eating tacos, chilaquiles, pozole, enchiladas, mole and more.. to the best desserts of all flavors, great drinks and Mexican entries..

We were like four hours at this buffet, the enviroment and the music was really nice and very mexican, of course.. After this each family went to their room. My family and me went looking for some place to go dancing, the atmosphere in each place was fun and we had to move after that big dinner!

The next day, we were ready taking breakfast in another buffet until we couldn´t eat more. We went to the beach for a while, did some activities of the hotel and stayed all day at the pool with my family and having good drinks.

My sister and I went to a spa for a good massage offered by the hotel. I can say it was one of the best massages I’ve had in my life. They were 2 girls, one for my sister and one for me. The music was very nice and the atmosphere towards the sea.
That was all day until 5pm that we had to get ready for the big day. Of course it took us like 3 hours to dress up and everything because we are women and we took over. haha
So, the wedding at the chappel started at 8. Big decorations with lots of colors and lights surrounded in each corner.

The couple looked divine together and I must say some tears came to me. It reminded me of how important it is love in life and we should cultivate it, that is why i think is the best wedding I have been in Cancun.
All this was until 10 pm ready for the big celebration party by the sea. We arrived in a monster truck for everyone and took a table for each family. A blue dance floor with lights was the fascination!

The night started with a fire show a little scary because the actors where playing and dancing with fire, it kinda look like martial arts.

Then they gave us dinner and finally the party got started. The music was very popular and super fun! Then they started playing all kind of music, rock and roll, pop, mexican, salsa, hip hop and a lot more. We danced like 8 hours… surely the best thing was the people there!

I had a lot of fun at this wedding and I’m always gonna remember it like the best wedding I have ever gone.

How to board a plane
How to board a plane

Airports can have a stressful enviroment sometimes, some make it difficult for travelers to find a specific point. But if you come prepared you will have no complications and delays. So here I wrote this information you should know to board a plane:

1. Print your ticket and check your luggage

There are some airlines that let you print your ticket online, but you can do it by person at the airport. Find your airline at the airport and wait for your turn to check in. When you approach to the front desk, give your full name and ID or passport, they will give you your printed ticket and ask you for your luggage.
- If you are flying with multiple connections, you should ask the attendant to print multiple tickets for each connection.
- You checked luggage should usually weight less than 50 lbs. so you dont have to pay overweight.
- You are allowed to carry two bags with you, try to bring the right size for each one.
2. Go to Security Check Point

Have your ticket in hand, ID or passport and luggage ready. This is where your bags pass through the security check and will be revised with the computer xray.
The electronic devices must be in a separate container and your bags in another one. Liquids ans gels have to be under 100 ml, otherwise you will not be able to take them with you.

3. Find your terminal/gate

Take your bads and find your terminal or gate, you can find it in your ticket. The airport will guide you with its signs to your gate. If you can’t find any sign ask the security guide and he will help you.
If your ticket doesnt show a terminal, look for the flight screens, there you’ll find everything.

4. Wait for your plane

It is always good to arrive earlier at your gate so you have time to board your plane. You can take a walk at the shops there, connect to the internet or eat something while you wait for your departure.

5. Time to board

Normally you board 20 min before the plane leaves, so wait for the flight attendant call. Boarding is done in sections/groups, find your group number in your boarding pass.

6. Ready to fly

Now is the time for your departure, place your bags under the front passenger seat, your seatbelt on and turn off your cellphone until the pilot indicates to turn it on at sky (literally). Have a great trip!

List of things you should never forget before traveling
Before travelling, you must have everything ready for your departure, I recommend making a complete list of things to not forget anything. Writing everything down helps you a lot even if you think you have everything in your mind. One funny and really bad thing that happened to me was the day I was already at the airport and realize my bags where in my house. I was so distracted and didn’t remember to put them on the car!

That’s how I learned by time this important list of things you should never forget before travelling:

1. Your luggage
- A few days before traveling you must have ready your luggage without forgetting any detail. For example my most important things in my bag have to be 3 outfits at least, makeup, toothbrush, shampoo, and other stuff.
- Aircraft normally let you bring two bags of 10 pounds each. If you have a long journey of more than 10 hours I recommend you bring as less as possible on hands to travel more comfortably.
- If you want to protect your bags that go under the plane, put a lock on each one in case someone tries to open them. Never forget your key….
2. Enlist your travel documents

Do not forget your travel ticket, passport, ID, medical and travel insurance card (if applicable), money, home address and important phone numbers (in case of lost luggage or emergencies). The best is all locate it in a folder so you have everything in one place.

3. Your Pet

If you know about any safe place as a hotel for dogs, it’s a good place to keep your dog safe and happy for a couple days, but a friend or family will be always better. Instead, if you are one of those who love taking your pet everywhere in the following article I’ll show you some tips for traveling with your pet.

5. Say goodbye to your loved ones

Even if you just leave for a few days it is important to say goodbye before your trip.

6. Transport to the airport

If you are traveling on a domestic flight, you must be two hours before the departure, but an international flights asks you to be 3 hours before to check in. There are several types of transportation to take you to the airport. If you want to take your family to the airport I recommend you to reserve a Van for 6 people, they are cheap if you divide the cost and also you can take all of your bags in the trunk. Don’t forget to remind the driver at what time your flight departs so you get on time at the airport.

Cancun’s Best Karaoke Bars

Cancun is an ideal place to party any day of the week, being a tourist destination and the most visited in Mexico makes the possibility to enjoy any activity you are seeking.

For me, I love music, karaoke and especially since I stepped in Cancun, my goal was to find the best Karaoke citywide. Going out every weekend to a different karaoke, some dissapointed me because I sang every half hour and ended singing 2 songs until dawn, others were karaokes show where you had to dress up like an artist with cool music to dance all night and the type of karaoke that i like where you could sing all kinds of genres with a good enviroment and some drinks.

I’ll tell in my very experience Cancun’s Best Karaoke Bars:

Karaoke at the Four Elements in Hotel Xbalamque

Actually, this is the best karaoke I’ve ever gone, I met it until two years after living in Cancun. My family and I loved it so much that we ended up going every weekend without fail. The style of this place is based in Mayan culture, you have to enter through the hotel lobby and then find a sign that says 4 elements.

The music is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxed but fun for every guest. I recommend you to order some delicious alitas with drinks.

The dj is super fun! The microphone has an excellent sound and I loved it so much that I could ask for 10 songs and I could not miss anyone!! You see people from all over the world enjoying the singing and dancing. I really like also that at least between each 5 songs the DJ plays music for dancing ALL kind of music: salsa, reggaeton, bachata, jazz and even tango! When it comes to dance or sing, do not forget your camera and get someone to record the show because you on stage will be unforgettable! (Airport Shuttle to Xbalamque Hotel)

Acoustic Piano Bar & Karaoke

Acoustic Piano Bar and Karaoke is located in front of Plaza las Americas at Plaza Solare, it´s very easy to get there. Defined to be an elegant karaoke bar, but fun. You can reserve a table in advance to have your spot if you go on the weekend because it is the one that fulls the most of all Cancun! To me what I like about here is the sound when you sing, the music for dancing and sometimes that you can appreciate some piano artists with singers. You can also ask the waiters for its menú, they offer there nachos, fries, drinks, etc. or you can bring food from the restaurants around, I highly recommend you to get an order of sushi Chowa.

When going to Acoustic Bar & Karaoke, do not forget to bring your ID!

Show Time

Show Time is the ideal karaoke to go with all your friends or your family! Ask for the songs you want and you must be mentally and physically prepare to dress up in colorful wigs and hats while singing on stage, you definitely have to dance! It is a show you can not miss ..

While spending the night, we recommend ordering a large saucer botanero and drinks for all!

Pancho & Willys

If you want an elegant, exclusive and fun karaoke.. overlooking the lagoon and most importantly in the center of the tourist area of Cancun (Zona Hotelera) I would strongly advise to go to Pancho & Willy’s! It is the most famous for all international tourists. The setting of this place is very nice and elegant, not as Mexican as the others but if you want to enjoy with your partner classical, rock music and dancing a little rock & roll this is the place for you. Hice una lista de los mejores lugares para comer en Miami basado a varias opiniones de diferentes viajeros, dependiendo del presupuesto que tengas pensado hay diferentes lugares que se acomodan a tu bolsillo. Bhutan, The Way to the Happiness.

Bhutan is a country located at the foot of the Himalayas and bordered to the north by the Republic of China and India to the south.

It has an area of 40,994 km and its inhabitants are close to 800,000.

The animal symbol of this country is the Takin which lives in the Himalaya at 2000 meters above sea level and when females were going to give birth to their offspring up to 3000 m and return once they are ready. They are wild animals and live in the cold.

The official language is Dzongkha but also speak English in order to have a means of communication with the world, which is taught in all schools in Bhutan.

The Taktshang is a temple built in 1692 in honor of Buddha Padmasmavaba who came to these mountains to 3120 meters above sea level and the place was so majestic that he decided to stay and meditate on it for three years, three months, three weeks Three days and three hours. Legend tell us that when Padmasmavaba came, it did so on the back of a tigress and that’s why this place is known as the Tiger’s Nest.

Honestly for me this country has a very different way of thinking to other countries, I feel I will go to Bhutan and try to live as they do, they might help the world to take these positions about happiness and that I think are very important to maintain a balance with the environment and society.

I hope someday I’ll visit this country definitely, is in the number one place of Places to Visit before I die, this list includes includes Machu Picchu and Easter Island. It would not be wrong to try to think like a Bhutanese if we analyze it in a leisurely way, to achieve the pursuit of our own happiness Net balance with nature.
