Machu Pichu.

According to documents from the mid-sixteenth century, Machu Picchu would have been one of the residences of Pachacutec, the ninth Inca Tahuantinsuyo between 1438 and 1470. However, some of its finest buildings and ceremonial evident from the main gateway to the llaqta demonstrate that this was used as a religious sanctuary. Both uses, the palace and the temple, it would have been incompatible. Some experts seem to have ruled, however, an alleged military, so the popular epithets of “strength” or “citadel” could have been overcome.

Machu Picchu is considered a masterpiece of architecture and engineering. Its unique architectural features and landscaping, and the veil of mystery around the literature published on the site, have become one of the most popular tourist destinations on the planet.

Machu Picchu is on the List of World Heritage of UNESCO since 1983 as part of a whole set cultural and ecological known under the name Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The July 7, 2007 Machu Picchu was declared one of the new seven wonders of the modern world in a ceremony in Lisbon, Portugal, which was attended by one hundred million voters worldwide.

The archaeological site is accessible either from the Inca roads that reach it, or using the road Hiram Bingham. None of the two forms exempts to the visitor entrance price to the ruins.

That road, however, is not integrated into the national road network in Peru. Born in the town of Aguas Calientes, which in turn can only be accessed by railway whose route takes about three hours from Cuzco or 30 minutes by helicopter. The absence of a direct road to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu is intentional and allows to control the flow of visitors to the area, which, given its nature of national reserve, is particularly sensitive to the crowds. This, however, has not prevented the disorderly growth of Aguas Calientes, who lives and tourism, hotels and restaurants as there are different categories here.

Formerly to reach Machu Picchu by the main Inca road should do a walk of about three days. This requires taking a train or railcar until km 82 of the railroad Cusco-Aguas Calientes. Some visitors take a local bus from Cusco to Ollantaytambo and then take a shuttle to the mentioned km 82. Once there cross the railway to cover the 32 km there to Aguas Calientes. At present, buses reach the Hydroelectric located 9 km from Aguas Calientes, which are walking about three hours, which is the same path that makes the train.

The weather is hot and humid during the day and cool at night. The temperature ranges between 12 and 24 degrees Celsius. The area in general is very rainy, especially between November and March. The rains, which are abundant, rapidly alternating with periods of intense sunshine.

Xel-Ha Tour

Xel-Ha is an ecological park located in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is characterized by a large cove where the river water meets the Caribbean Sea, forming the ideal for coexistence of 70 marine species and freshwater space. It is for this reason that Xel-Ha is known as the world’s largest natural aquarium. Also, as the space of many specimens of flora and fauna of the region, he was awarded the title Xel-Ha Natural Wonder of Mexico in a recent call nationwide.

Xel-Ha is located in the heart of the Riviera Maya, 122 km south of Cancun, and 13 km north of the archaeological site of Tulum, from the Cancun-Tulum highway.

Xel-Ha Mayan consists of two words that together mean “water intrusion”, a clear reference to its geographical structure, or “place where water is born.”

A legend about the origin of Xel-Ha that the Mayan gods, having conjugate in one place the best of themselves, created three guardians: Huh, the iguana, guardian of the earth; Mo, the macaw is the guardian of heaven, and Kay-Op, the parrot fish, keeper of the waters. Then, the gods decided to deliver this natural paradise to mankind.

Today the main attraction of Xel-Ha is its large cove, which is characterized as simultaneously a water of sea to the mainland and the mouth of several freshwater canals. Therefore, it is home to 70 species of aquatic fauna such as blonde, the parrotfish, surgeon, mackerel, sergeant, Chacchi, snapper, bonefish, stingrays, sunfish, and the occasional barracuda.

Xel-Ha is one of the few places in the world where we see two phenomena simultaneously: the thermocline and the halocline. The dense and warm sea water, which cannot be immediately mixed with the sweet and lower density of freshwater canals water, produces a mirage-like visual effect. You can distinguish a layer of liquid on the surface like oil on water, but it is actually fresh water floating on the salt, which is denser.

In the cove you can practice water sports such as snorkeling, diving and snuba. It also has conditioned a special space for activities such as coexistence with dolphins and manatees, and Sea Trek or underwater walk.

Around the cove there are endless formations of great beauty, like a cave whose walls are covered with fossils of extinct mollusks and other prehistoric specimens. They are also near the Paradise and Adventure cenotes, which are home to numerous species of fish and birds in danger of extinction.

Bay of Caprices also offers spots that show the charm of the Mexican Caribbean. There is also a mangrove area where you can swim.

Almost from its inception as an ecological park 15 years ago, Xel-Ha has worked to maintain a balance with the environment. Since systems for waste recycling programs to preserve endangered species such as the manatee, the queen conch and sea turtles.

The Xel-Ha has responded to the concern for national and regional water resources and has made a strategic alliance with the Water Network of the Mexican Academy of Sciences through the financing of a water monitoring project to determine the Hydrogeology State of Quintana Roo.

The first phase of the project was presented at the 2006 World Water Forum held in Mexico City, as an example of what can be achieved working together with academic institutions and private companies.

Also, the park has served as a starting point for various social programs that integrate all the nearby communities, particularly Ciudad Chemuyil and Tulum. The philosophy of the park is to encourage the development of those communities from which they come as many of its employees.

How to board a plane
How to board a plane

Airports can have a stressful enviroment sometimes, some make it difficult for travelers to find a specific point. But if you come prepared you will have no complications and delays. So here I wrote this information you should know to board a plane:

1. Print your ticket and check your luggage

There are some airlines that let you print your ticket online, but you can do it by person at the airport. Find your airline at the airport and wait for your turn to check in. When you approach to the front desk, give your full name and ID or passport, they will give you your printed ticket and ask you for your luggage.
- If you are flying with multiple connections, you should ask the attendant to print multiple tickets for each connection.
- You checked luggage should usually weight less than 50 lbs. so you dont have to pay overweight.
- You are allowed to carry two bags with you, try to bring the right size for each one.
2. Go to Security Check Point

Have your ticket in hand, ID or passport and luggage ready. This is where your bags pass through the security check and will be revised with the computer xray.
The electronic devices must be in a separate container and your bags in another one. Liquids ans gels have to be under 100 ml, otherwise you will not be able to take them with you.

3. Find your terminal/gate

Take your bads and find your terminal or gate, you can find it in your ticket. The airport will guide you with its signs to your gate. If you can’t find any sign ask the security guide and he will help you.
If your ticket doesnt show a terminal, look for the flight screens, there you’ll find everything.

4. Wait for your plane

It is always good to arrive earlier at your gate so you have time to board your plane. You can take a walk at the shops there, connect to the internet or eat something while you wait for your departure.

5. Time to board

Normally you board 20 min before the plane leaves, so wait for the flight attendant call. Boarding is done in sections/groups, find your group number in your boarding pass.

6. Ready to fly

Now is the time for your departure, place your bags under the front passenger seat, your seatbelt on and turn off your cellphone until the pilot indicates to turn it on at sky (literally). Have a great trip!

List of things you should never forget before traveling
Before travelling, you must have everything ready for your departure, I recommend making a complete list of things to not forget anything. Writing everything down helps you a lot even if you think you have everything in your mind. One funny and really bad thing that happened to me was the day I was already at the airport and realize my bags where in my house. I was so distracted and didn’t remember to put them on the car!

That’s how I learned by time this important list of things you should never forget before travelling:

1. Your luggage
- A few days before traveling you must have ready your luggage without forgetting any detail. For example my most important things in my bag have to be 3 outfits at least, makeup, toothbrush, shampoo, and other stuff.
- Aircraft normally let you bring two bags of 10 pounds each. If you have a long journey of more than 10 hours I recommend you bring as less as possible on hands to travel more comfortably.
- If you want to protect your bags that go under the plane, put a lock on each one in case someone tries to open them. Never forget your key….
2. Enlist your travel documents

Do not forget your travel ticket, passport, ID, medical and travel insurance card (if applicable), money, home address and important phone numbers (in case of lost luggage or emergencies). The best is all locate it in a folder so you have everything in one place.

3. Your Pet

If you know about any safe place as a hotel for dogs, it’s a good place to keep your dog safe and happy for a couple days, but a friend or family will be always better. Instead, if you are one of those who love taking your pet everywhere in the following article I’ll show you some tips for traveling with your pet.

5. Say goodbye to your loved ones

Even if you just leave for a few days it is important to say goodbye before your trip.

6. Transport to the airport

If you are traveling on a domestic flight, you must be two hours before the departure, but an international flights asks you to be 3 hours before to check in. There are several types of transportation to take you to the airport. If you want to take your family to the airport I recommend you to reserve a Van for 6 people, they are cheap if you divide the cost and also you can take all of your bags in the trunk. Don’t forget to remind the driver at what time your flight departs so you get on time at the airport.

What to do with a plane if the pilot is knocked unconscious

Have you ever wondered what would you do with a plane if the pilot is knocked unconscious? If no one else is able to fly the plane, your live may depend on a number of important decisions.
Someone can guide you through the radio, but this article will help you to know what to expect and to be a little prepared. These kind of scenarios are common in movies, people who have received training have never landed a big plane in the “real world” but with some basic skills you will know the main controllers of an airplane.

What to do with a plane if the pilot is knocked unconscious:

1. TAKE A SIT

Usually, the captain sits on the left where the majority of controlls are. Call someone for any help to sit in your right. Fasten your seat belt and shoulder harness (if any). However, almost all the aircraft have dual controls and you can land one successful no matter where you sit. Do not touch the controls!!! Chances are that the autopilot is engaged to be drived automatically. Leave it for now.
Make sure the unconscious pilot is not leaning over the control (the equivalent of driving a car). Some aircraft may have a lateral control, which is a joystick to the left of the captain’s seat.

2. BREATH

You’ll probably feel overwhelmed with sensory overload and the seriousness of the situation. Breathing will help you focus. Breathe slowly and deeply tell your body and mind that you are in control.
Stabilize the plane. If you feel the plane climbs, descends and turns, slowly stibilize its altitude flight using the outside horizon as a guide. In the end all these days of video games work out today!
Search the attitude indicator. Sometimes known as the artificial horizon, the instrument consists of a miniature set of “wings” and the image of the horizon. The top is blue (representing the sky) and the bottom is brown. In some complex aircraft, the attitude indicator is displayed on a computer screen in front of the pilot. On older aircraft, it is located in the center of the top row of instruments. In modern airlines, there will be a primary flight display right in front of you. This screen displays important information such as airspeed measured in knots ground speed is also measured in knots, altitude and course. It should also show if the autopilot is turned on or not, usually indicated as AP or CMD.

3. STABILIZE THE ELEVATION

Stabilize the elevation (ascent or descent) and the lateral tilt (rotation) if necessary for miniature wings are level with the artificial horizon. If you are already leveled, do not touch the controls at all and proceed with the next step. However, if you need to level the plane, adjust the flight balance pulling the knob (or level) towards to make the front part goes up or push it foward to go down. You can correct the lateral tit (rotation) moving the knob to the left or right to turn into that direction. At the same time, you must apply a little resistance in the knob to avoid the airplane lost altitude.

4. TURN ON THE AUTOMATIC PILOT (AUTOPILOT)

If you have tried to correct the course of the airplane (driving it), it’s probably that the autopilot has been desactivated. Turn it on pressing the “AUTOPILOT” button or “AUTOMATIC FLIGHT”, “AFS”, “AP” button. In passenger airplanes, this button is located in the center of the antiglare panel where both pilotd can reach it easily. In most flights during the curse, the autopilot is on.
Only if the autopilot cause the airplane to do things that you do not want, turn it off again by pressing all the buttons you can find in the command (which will probably include the button autopilot OFF). Usually, the best way to make a plane fly in a stable way is to not touch the controls. The planes are designed to be stable and most people that are not trained pilots tend to control them incorrectly.

5. ASK FOR HELP BY RADIO

Search for the handheld microphone, which is usually located to the left of the pilot’s seat just below the side window, and use it as a CB radio. Find the microphone and repeat “Mayday” three times followed by a brief description of the emergency ( example: unconsciuous pilot ). Do not forget to release the button to hear the answer. A flight controller guy will help you to flight the airplane and land safely. Listen carefully and answer their questions as best so they can help you effectively.
You can also take the pilot headphones and press the button to talk (PPT), wich is in the control. However, the autopilot button is in the same control, if you press by accident, you can disable the system. It is BEST to use the handled radio.
If you see a red light on the panel, tell it to the controller. Under this red light, there will be a description ( example: low voltage, generator ). Obviously, this requires fast attention.
If you can find the transponder on the panel of the radio (it has four windows of 4 numbers from 0 to 7, usually located near the bottom of the panel), set it to 7700. This is an emergency code that will alert quickly the air traffic controllers indicating you have an emergency.

5. USE THE CALL SIGN OF THE AIRPLANE WHEN YOU TALK TO THE DRIVER

The call sign of the airplane is on the panel (unfortunately, there ir no standard location, but the call signal must be somwhere in the panel). Ringing tones for registered USA aircraft begins with the letter “N” (example: “N12343” ). This letter can be confused with others on a radio, so say “November”. Announcing the call will identify clearly the airplane and also it will give the flight controllers the important information about the airplane so they can help you land it.
If you are on a commercial flight (one operated by an airline such as UNITED AIRLINES), the airplane is not known for its beginning letter “N”, but for its call sign or for the flight number. Sometimes, pilots put a sticky note on the panel as a reminder. Ask a flight attendat what number is. When you call the Radio, tell first the name of the airline and then the number. If the flight number is 123 and the airline is United Airlines, the flight signal will be “United 1-2-3”. The figures shouldn’t be read as a single number, so do not say “United one hundred twenty three”.

6. MAINTAIN A SAFE SPEED

Search the speedometer (generally indicated as ASI, airspeed or knots), which is usually found in the top left of the instrument panel, and watch your speed. The speed is read either in mph (miles per hour) or knots (whose values are similar). Do not fly a small two-seater plane to less than 70 knots and a big one (Jumbo) less than 180. Basically, just make sure the needle stays in the “green” zone indicator for normal flight until you can receive someone’s help through the radio.
If the airplane speed begins to inrease without you’ve touched the accelerator, there’s a chance you’re going down. If the speed decreases, lower gently the nose to increase it. don´t lt the plane fly too slow, specially if you are near the ground, it could stop and the wings stop producing lift.

7. THE LANDING BEGINS

The controller which you talk has to facilitate the landing procedures for the aircraft and guide you to a safe place to land. Chances are that you head for the runway at an airport, but in some rare circumstances you may need to land in a field or road. If you have to land and you can not get to an airport, avoid places with power lines, trees or other obstacles.
To reduce the plane’s altitude, pull the throttle (to reduce power) until you hear the sound indicating the change of engine and then stop. It is impossible to generalize, but probably you’ll only have to move ½ cm (1/4 inch). Keep the airspeed within the green margin. The nose should drop by itself without pushing forward command.
If you are needed to push or pull the remote control to constantly maintain stable the plane, use the compensator to alleviate these pressures. Otherwise, it can be very tiring and distracting. Trim wheel is approximately 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) in diameter and rotates in the same direction as the wheels of the landing gear. They are often located near your knees on either sides. It is black and has small bumps on the outer edges. While maintaining pressure on the joystick, gently turn the trim wheel. If the pressure you are keeping becomes higher, turn the wheel in the other direction until you no longer have to maintain the original level of pressure. Note: In some small aircraft, wheel balancer can be found in the roof panel and with a crank shape. Also in larger aircraft, this wheel is shaped like a switch on the control button. It is usually found near the top left. If the plane pushes the lever toward you, then push the lever down. If the knob gets away from you, push the lever up.

8. LANDING

You have to use a variety of driving devices (slats and flaps off the accelerator) to slow the airplane without losing elevation. Lower the landing gear if it’s a retractable case. If the train is stationary, always will be down and you dont need to do anything. The landing gear handle (the end is shaped like a tire) is usually found just to the right of the center console above the knee of the co-pilot. However, if you need to land on water, do not lower the landing gear.
Just before landfall, you will need to raise the nose to make the maneuver pickup (flare) and you will have to land first with the main wheels. Usually, raising the nose is about 5 to 7 degrees in a small aircraft while in some larger can reach 15 degrees.
If you’re flying a large commercial jet, activate the reverse thrust, in case the ship counts with one. In a Boeing, there are bars behind the throttle quadrant. Pull them back as far as you can and the thrust will be directed forward to help stop the plane. If all else fails, pull the throttle back as fast and far as possible.
Reduce power to a minimum pulling the throttle toward to you until you reach the “off” signal (idle). The throttle is a black color lever that is usually located between the pilot and copilot.
Apply the brakes gently pressing the top of the rudder pedals. Use the pressure required to stop the aircraft without skating. The rudder pedals are used to drive the plane into the ground, so do not use them unless the plane is off the track.

9. CONGRATULATE YOURSELF!!

Once you’ve gotten help for the unconscious pilot, you can finally pass out. Go ahead, you’ve earned it. And if you can dear to see another plane and even get on one, you may have what it takes to fly and may want to consider the possibility of taking flying lessons from a certified instructor. Although you may be able to do so. You can also write a book about your experience.

Journey to the Chimborazo volcano.

We started our journey From Guayaquil. Our driver took us to the lodge Eternal Spring (Hosteria Eterna Primavera).

The road was covered with fog during part of the journey and had many curves also, some passengers seasick or gave them the famous “mountain sickness” well known here as “Soroche” which is when they are low pressure. The change in vegetation looked again and suddenly felt a nice cold that refresh the group of passengers.

After breakfast at the lodge, which consisted of milk, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice and bread served with jam or butter. It is considered to have a light breakfast because the road has too many curves and it can make feel really bad.

Once we pass the Sangay National Park we knew we were within minutes of seeing the Chimborazo Volcano, the highest volcano of Ecuador at 6,268 meters above sea level and if it’s measured from the core of the earth, is the point farther from the core of the earth.

Once we got Chimborazo National Park visitors have to check in at the checkpoint on the road and can get very nice photos in which the distance will see the imposing volcano.

Then you climb to the refuge located at 4,000 meters above sea level, there is a journey to a lagoon and you can see the tombstones and poems in memory of people who died here. Even a week ago they found 3 frozen climbers who were lost in 1993.

The November 10, 1993, an avalanche buried the Chimborazo to 10 climbers, more than 5000 meters, the event was considered the worst tragedy in the Ecuadorian Andes. Seven of the victims were French.

According to the investigations and forensic anthropological examinations, three citizens were identified as Vinueza Paulo, Rodrigo Silva and Christian Munchmeyer. They have suffered an accident that left multiple fractures that caused his death. Last Saturday, the remains were recovered by the Intervention and Rescue Group, after the notice you received the National Police about the discovery of the bodies.

I sincerely believe that there is nothing nicer than being literally on top of the world either on a volcano or a mountain, because these natural spaces show us things nice and majestic things that we have as heritage of humanity and that we should preserve and respect to endure for all eternity. This places show you an internal peace and relaxation that you will need to find some day.

Cancun’s Best Karaoke Bars

Cancun is an ideal place to party any day of the week, being a tourist destination and the most visited in Mexico makes the possibility to enjoy any activity you are seeking.

For me, I love music, karaoke and especially since I stepped in Cancun, my goal was to find the best Karaoke citywide. Going out every weekend to a different karaoke, some dissapointed me because I sang every half hour and ended singing 2 songs until dawn, others were karaokes show where you had to dress up like an artist with cool music to dance all night and the type of karaoke that i like where you could sing all kinds of genres with a good enviroment and some drinks.

I’ll tell in my very experience Cancun’s Best Karaoke Bars:

Karaoke at the Four Elements in Hotel Xbalamque

Actually, this is the best karaoke I’ve ever gone, I met it until two years after living in Cancun. My family and I loved it so much that we ended up going every weekend without fail. The style of this place is based in Mayan culture, you have to enter through the hotel lobby and then find a sign that says 4 elements.

The music is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxed but fun for every guest. I recommend you to order some delicious alitas with drinks.

The dj is super fun! The microphone has an excellent sound and I loved it so much that I could ask for 10 songs and I could not miss anyone!! You see people from all over the world enjoying the singing and dancing. I really like also that at least between each 5 songs the DJ plays music for dancing ALL kind of music: salsa, reggaeton, bachata, jazz and even tango! When it comes to dance or sing, do not forget your camera and get someone to record the show because you on stage will be unforgettable! (Airport Shuttle to Xbalamque Hotel)

Acoustic Piano Bar & Karaoke

Acoustic Piano Bar and Karaoke is located in front of Plaza las Americas at Plaza Solare, it´s very easy to get there. Defined to be an elegant karaoke bar, but fun. You can reserve a table in advance to have your spot if you go on the weekend because it is the one that fulls the most of all Cancun! To me what I like about here is the sound when you sing, the music for dancing and sometimes that you can appreciate some piano artists with singers. You can also ask the waiters for its menú, they offer there nachos, fries, drinks, etc. or you can bring food from the restaurants around, I highly recommend you to get an order of sushi Chowa.

When going to Acoustic Bar & Karaoke, do not forget to bring your ID!

Show Time

Show Time is the ideal karaoke to go with all your friends or your family! Ask for the songs you want and you must be mentally and physically prepare to dress up in colorful wigs and hats while singing on stage, you definitely have to dance! It is a show you can not miss ..

While spending the night, we recommend ordering a large saucer botanero and drinks for all!

Pancho & Willys

If you want an elegant, exclusive and fun karaoke.. overlooking the lagoon and most importantly in the center of the tourist area of Cancun (Zona Hotelera) I would strongly advise to go to Pancho & Willy’s! It is the most famous for all international tourists. The setting of this place is very nice and elegant, not as Mexican as the others but if you want to enjoy with your partner classical, rock music and dancing a little rock & roll this is the place for you. The best routes and recommendations to run in Cancun

Hello, what a shame news about what happened this Tuesday evening in the Hotel Zone of Cancun, I was very dissappointed. I share this to all athletes this article about all the routes in which you can practice this activity. We can not avoid the danger but we can prevent it and be careful. So my recommendations are: not training after 6pm at any of this routes, go accompanied, notify a family member or friend where you will be and preferaly go at times where there is movement (usually this is in the morning). In this article I share other routes where you can run in Cancun and recommendations.

Cancun is one of the most famous places throughout Mexico for its marathons, races, triathlons, water sports and competitions organized in hotels for their great seafront location and being a tourist place to play sports worldwide. If you are planning to visit Cancun and you like running, BINGO! Cancun is the place for you.

Running has always been my passion. Wherever I go, I run. In my years living in Cancun, I found which are the best routes to run in Cancun:

Hotel zone ( Zona Hotelera )

The hotel zone starts from km 0 to km 26, is a looong road in excellent condition with no holes or cars in the way. The best road for marathoners who want to train hard smoothly. You will have the chance to appreciate the beauty of Cancun hotels, restaurants, the lagoon, the beaches and the whole tourist area.

There is a clock in the Kilometer 0 of the hotel zone if you want to measure your workout time and the best, a gauge of kilometers will be at each KM on this avenue (Avenida Kukulkan). Hundreds of runners and cyclists are training where you can even join them if you can reach them! 😉 Not all of this road has sea view, if you really want to enjoy the beautiful beach while working out, you can start running in the KM 21 and appreciate some of the best sea views of Cancun, called ” Playa Delfines ” and at your right, golf courses with the best resorts in Cancun.

Malecón Tajamar

Running on Malecon Tamajar is a place to run 5 km, take your dog for a walk, skate, or jog slowly with your group of friends. It’s not so much to train for marathons or races but good for a good 3/5k run, also to take your yoga mat and meditate in front of the Nichupte lagoon. Some people just come to watch the entire Cancun Hotels at the distance from here. Just be careful with the cocodriles.

Kabah Park ( Parque Kabah )

Kabah Park is a place for runners who love to run in nature. It is a natural park that preserves its animal and plant species. Measures approximately 2.5 km inside the jungle, a curvy road to run or stroll. While you run, you can appreciate the big forest with trees around, coatis, monkeys and some animals that can not be seen much because they are tucked between nature. Within this park you can exercise in a small public gym located at the entrance of the park, some squats, pushups, sit-ups, etc. It also has inside with Mayan cultural aspects that represent the first people who lived in Cancun for those who love history and culture.

The beach

The beach may be the best experience for running in Cancun, see the crystalline waters, listen to your music exercise, tanning and exercising is a perfect combination. Ideal for having a good run and jump into the sea after a heated! There are some beaches that do not have enough space to run, primarily Cancun that features their hotels to the seashore. Beaches to run I recommend: Playa Delfines (many players and athletes train here from 7 in the morning because there are almost no people and space is huge for exercise), Playa Marlin which is located behind Plaza Kukulcan and Playa Forum (if you want to run on this beach I recommend you go as early as possible because it is the most visited beach in Cancun) located opposite the nightlife area (Plaza Forum).

Most Mexicans love tacos. Why? It is the most typical dish of mexico and like us, immigrants come from far away to try some delicious tacos. But if you ever travel to Mexico, you’ll realize that at night, many restaurants in any city, including McDonalds, Burger King, buffets, supermarkets, etc will be closed until 11 pm max. LESS TACOS. There is no place in Mexico that does not have a branch of exquisite Mexican tacos to enjoy a delicious dinner at the early morning.

I’ll give you some reasons why people in Mexico like eating tacos at 2 am:

1. For those after party moments that hunger begins to invade our senses, tacos are essential

Although they are high in fat, will help to bring down the cups over, or the good tequila!

2. They are cheap

Mexico’s leading producer is corn. Tacos, made of tortilla, meat and avocado with tomato, accommodates an economic budget; you can ask an order of 4 tacos for 3 dollars depending on where you go. Some are cheaper than others.

3. There is a high variety of recipes you can try with tacos

Fajitas, Al Pastor, Gringas, de Canasta, Guisado, Birria, Tostadas, Quesadillas, etc. I always will choose Al Pastor, comes with pineapple and with my favorite Mexican drink ”horchata”! Yum

4. Mexican people like to eat 24 hours a day

When I´m with my friends or family, it comes to us a strange appetite for wanting to eat tacos at night. Whether you’re on a diet that is almost killing you counting calories, doesn’t matter, when someone says to go for some tacos, everyone accepts without thinking! It’s like an epidemic of appetite!

5. You meet with famous people

You think that the president does not like tacos? Your favorite actor? Our your favorite player? definitely! tacos are our culture and part of us!

Legends of Ecuador.

Cantuña’s Legend.

Cantuña has a very famous legend in Quito, capital of Ecuador, he was a very famous Indian in colonial times because he was a direct descendant of the great warrior Rumiñahui.

This Indian, called Cantuña, had much power over other Indians in the region.

Taking advantage of this, he promised to build a beautiful and large atrium to the Church of San Francisco, but his commitment to the church was doing in six months, otherwise he will not charge anything.

The work was not easy. When the delivery time of the work was nearing completion, Cantuña was desperate, and offered to provide whatever who help him to end the atrium, which was just started.

This offering reached the ears of the devil, taking advantage of the situation and introduced himself and offered to end the court that night, as long as Cantuña give his soul as payment. Cantuña accepted, and thousands of little devils began working as darkness fell on the city.

Cantuña suddenly realized how fast they worked and that his soul would be bound to suffer punishment for all eternity, so he decided to challenge the devil. Cantuña went to a corner and took a stone, it wrote in Latin: “Who takes the stone and put in place, will recognize that there is only one God and He is above all creatures in the universe.”

When the court was about to be finished the devil wanted to put the last stone, but to read what it contained could not do it and that broke his covenant.

Cantuña kept the rock forever and no one was able to complete the work. If you ever visit the Plaza de San Francisco, look what the site where the famous stone missing.

La Dama Tapada.

La Dama Tapada appears as a popular belief about the year 1700 in the city of Guayaquil.

This legend tells the story of a lady who appeared around midnight but only appeared to be outdated drunks up to the old cemetery, Boca del Pozo, the lower church of Santo Domingo in the city of Guayaquil.

This young woman wearing only chasing philandering between these beautiful costumes an elegant black dress and a very nice time veil covering her face, which is not allowed to be recognized by their victims.
